Hi there and happy Sunday!
I finally turned the gorgeous lily images from Jane’s Doodles that I had watercolored during one of the last coloring challenges from Kathy Racoosin into a card! Two cards actually – since I had quite a few colored lilies. I already shared the first card here on Flickr, in case you are interested to see it.
Today I have the second card here for you, my dear blog readers. It is a long card with a simple watercolor wash as a background. To make the stitched rectangle die fit for my card size I used the partial die-cutting technique. The color scheme is basically monochromatic in pink and rosé. I followed a few challenges as inspiration which you will find below. 🙂
MY LILY CARD IN PINK:
Supplies for my card:
- Jane’s Doodles – Lily Stamp Set
- Jane’s Doodles – Belated Birthday Stamp Set (sentiment)
- Winsor & Newton – Watercolour Markers
- Stitched Rectangle Die
- Versafine – Onyx Black Ink
- Wow – Clear Embossing Powder
- Wow – White Embossing Powder
- Silver Sparkle Cardstock
- Little Things from Lucy – Clear Heart Droplet
I hope to have given you some inspiration for using watercoloring on your own cards.
Have an amazing day! ♥
