Hello friends!
Today I finished this card using Altenew stamps, dies and stencil. I was looking at this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge hosted by the lovely Virginia Lu and really wanted to join although it was a challenge for me indeed! 😀 Muted greens and oranges are usually not my go-to colors but I added a bit of yellow as well (like Virginia did in her card example) and after thinking about a few different designs I am very happy with what I came up with in the end! And I used my Rose Flurries 3D die set again, which I haven’t used nearly enough! 🙂
Here’s my finished roses card:

I started by using the Dalia Stencil A and stenciling some yellow ink onto the card base as well as adding a couple of green splatters. Then I arranged all of my die-cut and glued-together roses and leaves on top. The layering die set gives a great 3D look itself but I enhanced the dimensional effect by
1) Using foam tape between the first and second layers of each rose!
2) Adhering some of the blossoms and leaves with foam tape to the card base as well while gluing other ones directly to the card base.
3) Bending up the outer parts of leaves and petals a little bit with my bone folder.
Look at the dimension up close:

I hope you like today’s card. Have an amazing weekend!
Xx,
Rosali
