Hi there and welcome! It’s been a while! I am honored to be back with a blog post as part of the WOW Embossing and Picket Fence Studios collaboration hop! There are so many talented crafters involved, I am very excited!
MY VITAMIN SEA CARD
As I have already told my followers on Instagram (probably more than once! lol) that I love the ocean and everything about it. I also love whales and have been fortunate enough to see some in real life. They amaze me. ♥ So when I got invited to this hop, I knew right away I wanted to make a card with Picket Fence’s “A Dose Of Vitamin Sea” stamp set! I love not only the whale images but the great sentiments in it. I also got this holiday stamp set from Picket Fence that has Santas and penguins in it. Being the excited crafty girl that I am I showed both of them to my husband when they arrived and it was actually him that came up with the idea to combine those two sets! (I know, totally surprising to me, too! 😀 ) So, thank you, hubby! ♥
Here is my card:
For the fontain I used WOW’s light blue Metalline First Frost Embossing Powder. I added a bit of sparkle to the watercolored water using an embossing pen and WOW’s Singing In The Rain Embossing Glitter.
I love how the penguin is floundering about in the fountain of the whale! They look like they have a blast, don’t they?
